Last Saturday, Warren, Mary Ann and I stacked some of the brush from the south side of the parking lot into a pile for burning. It was too windy to burn so we have to do it on another day. If one or two of you are available during the week to help with the burning, let me know. Wayland posts burning ok at 8:30 am. We need to get the brush burned before May 1.

Suburban farmer Joanna Flies  has offered to start sunflower plants for us in her greenhouse. She said they will be ready for planting at the end of May. In the mean time we will prepare a garden plot for them. Speak to Stephanie Smoot or Pastor Johnson if you would like to help.

Notice the icon and the information about icons on the table in the narthex. Milly Engberg painted it. She and Susan Lindberg Haley attended an icon painting retreat at Camp Calumet.

I hope that you have had a chance to meet Jessica and Dan Sturtevant and their children Trent (4), Maggie and Alexis (2). It’s great to have them here at Peace!

Friends of our congregation, Jeff Stein and Emilie Altemose, sent us an Arcosanti “Christian Causes” bell as an Easter gift. In the next few weeks we’ll think of a place to put it on our property. Thank you to Jeff and Emilie. http://cosanti.com/
