In the Gospel for Sunday, Jesus is teaching his disciples to pray. We’ll talk about the nature of prayer, and how this prayer is related to the commandments.After worship, the confirmation students will continue their summer “weeding and reading”. Bob Holmgren has agreed to read to the students from Luther’s Small Catechism as they tend their affirmation sunflower garden. Thanks to Bob who will also play the piano for our worship tomorrow.Our ingathering of food and donations will go to the Mi’kmaq Aroostook reserve in Maine.
